Transcript follows below.

RA: This is the ninth year for the workshop on health IT and economics that we now call The Conference on Health IT and Analytics. As the conference chair for these nine years, all i can say is I go back even more excited and even more passionate about doing work in this field after the 1.5 days of CHITA. We just have had such incredibly stimulating intellectual discussions, we have had so many fine scholars that have come to this conversation. But I think what’s most important is that we have got folks from the policy community and the practice community who can keep us honest, who tell us that the research we are doing is useful or not useful. So for me the most rewarding aspect of this conference are the conversations that take place and I look forward to the next decade of CHITA.
